How the calculation works

These are introducing broker income scenarios, not trading profit forecasts or broker offers. All examples use fictional terms. Change the inputs to explore a scenario; no broker is selected or contacted.

Per lot

Eligible lots × USD per eligible lot. At $8 per lot, 150 eligible lots produce $1,200 gross. Use the contract’s definition of a lot; this tool does not infer instrument sizes or eligibility from trades.

CPA

Approved referrals × USD per approved referral. Ten approved referrals at $120 each produce $1,200 gross. Registrations, deposits and approved referrals are not interchangeable.

Revenue share

Eligible net revenue × the agreed percentage. $5,000 of eligible revenue at 30% produces $1,500 gross. Use the contractual revenue base, including its exclusions.

From gross commission to estimated net

Estimated net = gross commission − sub-partner share of gross − acquisition cost. For the default per-lot example, $1,200 − $240 − $150 = $810. A negative result is allowed: costs can exceed commission. This is a scenario margin before taxes, payment fees and any other costs you have not entered.

The calculator uses integer arithmetic and rounds gross commission to cents, then rounds the partner share to cents. Percentages allow two decimal places. The comparison CSV includes the active inputs and resulting amounts, so a result can be reproduced.

What requires a separate agreement check?

Volume tiers, hybrid terms, mid-month rate changes, clawbacks, currency conversion and payment thresholds are outside this simple comparison. In the sample Desk, Agreements supports dated lot, CPA, revenue-share and hybrid versions with explicit tier methods. A mid-month change currently stops calculation until split activity is supported.

Equal estimated net does not make two offers equally suitable. Qualification rules, reporting coverage, attribution and settlement timing may differ. This calculator does not recommend a broker or verify that commission will be paid.
